Catalytic treatment of process gases DIASPO
Description:
DIASPO, a plug flow reactor enables the investigation and characterization of pelletized catalysts in fixed bed configuration. The activity performance is investigated during reaction and for different regeneration conditions in short-term and in long-term experiments. The feed gas is made from model gas components. Dry and H2O containing gas mixtures are optional. E/ICA und analytic instrumentation enable the continuous operation for several weeks. At present different tar conversion catalysts for syngas applications (reforming, cracking), - proprietary and industrial catalysts -, are characterized. The tar composition depends on the respective gasification conditions varying considerably. The high level of aromatics is characteristic for all syngases. Naphthalene is set as the lead substance for the tary products in syngases.
