Travel information
The ISFR 2026 will be held in the beautiful city of Karlsruhe, in Baden-Württemberg, Germany. Karlsruhe is at the core of Europe with a short distance from the main airports and train stations.

- Stuttgart International Airport 1 ¼ hours with ICE train
- Strassbourg Train Station 1 hours with ICE train
- Paris Gare de L’Est 2 ¾ hours with TGV train
The ISFR will be held in the "NTI Hörsaal" at Campus South of the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology.

For parking, we kindly recommend that you use the parking space "Birkenparkplatz" (Adenauerring 19, 76131 Karlsruhe). It is free of charge and a 20 minutes walk to the NTI Hörsaal.
From Karlsruhe Main Station (Hauptbahnhof), take tram line S4 (direction Bretten/Gölshausen or Eppingen) or S7/S8 (direction Tullastraße/Blankenloch) to the stop Kronenplatz (KIT Campus Süd). The ride takes about 10 minutes.
From there, it’s a short 5-minute walk to the NTI Lecture Hall (Building 30.10) on the KIT Campus South.
At NTI Hörsaal there will be a registration desk and we will provide more details to the location and the seminar rooms there.
